The J.C. Hill Girls Basketball team were two baskets away from reaching the semi-finals.
The Girls basketball team came very close to reaching the semi-finals on Monday. J.C Hill defeated Centennial 24-12, Banbury defeated J.C. Hill 14-12 and Cedarland defeated J.C. Hill 30-16. J.C. Hill played hard and they left everything on the floor. They demonstrated great sportsmanship on and off the court and just as important was their attitude in the games, they never gave up. It was that kind of attitude that made this team a joy to coach. The team did everything we asked of them, which included 7:30 a.m. practices twice a week. We are very proud of each and every one of you. Great job everyone!

Snowsnake Yields a Close Call
IL Thomas was victorious at the District snowsnake tournament. They actually swept all the age categories. Stu had some excellent throws, as did Chase and Dylan. Thanks to all who participated for carrying on a unique Iroquoian tradition. Keep up the game of your grandfathers.

Where are the parents?
Last night's Home and School meeting was poorly attended. If there is another way parents would like to provide input and support for the students, please e-mail us or leave a comment on any of the teacher blogs that provide a comment space.
Decisions are being made by a few that affect ALL students and MANY programs are being dropped for lack of support and input. Grade 8 graduation needs parental support.
