James Bartleman - Aboriginal Youth Creative Writing Award
Due Date - May 31, 2011 Open to Junior (up to 12 years of age) and Senior (13-18 years of age). Eligible submissions include (but not limited to): short stories, songs, poetry and plays. Selected entries will receive: $2500.00 each. Submission Forms available at J. C. Hill. GET WRITING OR LOOK THROUGH YOUR LITERACY WORK THIS YEAR!!!

Be Prepared for Gym!
All grade eight students are participating in Gym this term. Your child will need the proper gym clothing for each class; t-shirt, sweat pants/shorts, running shoes. Each class, students are assessed on being prepared for gym with the proper clothing and participating to the best of their ability. Get ready to have fun and get moving!
