The J.C. Hill Girls Basketball team were two baskets away from reaching the semi-finals.

The Girls basketball team came very close to reaching the semi-finals on Monday. J.C Hill defeated Centennial 24-12, Banbury defeated J.C. Hill 14-12 and Cedarland defeated J.C. Hill 30-16. J.C. Hill played hard and they left everything on the floor. They demonstrated great sportsmanship on and off the court and just as important was their attitude in the games, they never gave up. It was that kind of attitude that made this team a joy to coach. The team did everything we asked of them, which included 7:30 a.m. practices twice a week. We are very proud of each and every one of you. Great job everyone!

Where are the parents?

Last night's Home and School meeting was poorly attended. If there is another way parents would like to provide input and support for the students, please e-mail us or leave a comment on any of the teacher blogs that provide a comment space.

Decisions are being made by a few that affect ALL students and MANY programs are being dropped for lack of support and input. Grade 8 graduation needs parental support.

VALENTINE'S DANCE-A-THON

The Valentine's Dance-a-thon was a great success. Lots of fun CHA-CHA SLIDING and dancing to many other songs. We are using this money to pay for buses going to Camp Olympia and for a new sound system for the gym. Thanks again for your support.

Perfect Attendance December/January

Congratulations to the students who had perfect attendance for the December and/or January months. Attendance and punctuality are KEYS to SUCCESS in school and in life. Keep up the great work!
