SKILLS CANADA DAY!
On Monday, April 30th, about 40 students attended the Skills Canada Workshop at the RIM Park and Manulife Financial Sportsplex, in Waterloo, Ontario. Grade 7 students on the trip participated in two workshops: 1) Home Depot and 2) Union Gas Metre Set-Up. The Grade 8 students participated in: 1) Careers in Transportation and 2) Industrial Millwright. Both groups also had the opportunity to be involved in various other shorter workshop activities. We would like to congratulate the students on their excellent behaviour, manners, and educational interest. It's great to be able to take students to these types of events, with such an excellent attitude! WAY TO GO!
Wed., May 2/07
Grade 8 Brock Trip is May 9, 2007. Permissions were sent out some time ago as this trip had to be postponed. We will be served lunch at Brock and will be back in time for the bus ride home.
Grade 8 students are also selling graduation fundraiser tickets. Remember to turn in ticket money as soon as possible.
