Several students were given the amazing opportunity (at the last minute) to attend the ImagiNATIVE film festival today. Vice Principal Mrs. Jamieson and I selected 46 students, all of whom had either no absences or under 2 absences. About 7 students were chosen from each class, and i am pleased to say that the 7-3 class actually had the MOST students without an absence so far this year. You should be proud of yourselves, and Mrs. Jamieson and i would like to congratulate you by bringing you on the trip with us. Students will screen a film in the morning and then have a workshop/training session with award winning Native director Alanis Obomsawin. (pictured above)
