Walking in Our Elders Footprints

Mrs. B. Martin wanted to share an exceptional feat that someone is doing. It is entitled "Walking in Our Elders Footprints for Mother Earth and Our Future Generations". Basically, Pakane (which means Grasshopper) or Steven Baranyai (his English name) is walking a great distance, from Niagara-on-the-Lake to Thunder Bay, to support the Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug First Nation's struggle concerning mining rights and the exploitation of their native land. To track his progress, send him an e-mail of support, or find more info, click here.
