Events This Week

A reminder to everyone, the MS Read-a-thon reading period has now ended. You need to be collecting the money from your sponsors and returning it to the school this week. You can bring it any day up until Thursday. Any student who has raised $20 or more will be allowed to go to a celebration dance on Thursday afternoon (more details to come about the dance).

If, for some reason, you haven't collected all your money by Thursday, you MUST STILL BRING the MONEY IN. However, you will not be able to go to the dance, regardless of how much money you have been sponsored, unless you bring the money before the 20th, which is Thursday.

As of Friday the 14th, 5 students had returned their envelopes, 750 minutes of reading were logged, and $218.00 has been raised. That's an average of 150 minutes read and $43.60 raised per student. Excellent start, JC Hill!! At that rate, less than 100 students have to bring in the same average for Mr. Restoule General to dye his hair platinum blonde!

Another reminder, there is a Home & School meeting this Tuesday from 5pm to 6pm. This is the last meeting before the Toy Bingo on November 29th, so it is important that parents are involved and attend. Thanks to those who have already returned their volunteer forms in advance of this meeting, which greatly helps with planning.
